  • Do you sometimes struggle with getting clients on board with treatment plans?
  • Would you like to learn how to most effectively diffuse anger in clients?
  • Would you like to build confidence and resilience in the communication scenarios you find most challenging?

Communication can be one of the most rewarding parts of practice, but it can also be one of the toughest, especially when emotions are running high.

This unique and practical equine specific workshop explores the tools and techniques you need to effectively deal with the more challenging conversations equine vets may face. We will study the reasons behind common communication barriers and how to overcome these in order to enhance your interactions.

Together, we’ll explore ways to manage yourself and others through situations where clients are distressed or exhibiting challenging behaviours, and help you to develop techniques to communicate your boundaries whilst maintaining empathy.

Working with experienced facilitators and professional role-players, you’ll have the chance to test out new approaches in a safe, supportive space. You’ll leave with skills you can use straight away and a plan to keep building on them back in practice.

Is this course for me?
